Hello beautiful people! As some of you may know, I traveled to Greece recently and shot amazing pictures with Dennis. It was a wonderful journey and every time I traveled to Greece I got extremely impressed of the beautiful and magical spots Greece has to offer.
I am in love with the sunsets, the sea, the fisher boats and the food. And yes: I got brown…FINALLY! 😀 I wanted to get some color for the whole year and finally the greek sun made my skin caramel. By the way I healed my skin so well, the salt water and the sun smoothed out imperfections and now I am really happy with my skin. I hope though I will make it last in rainy Hamburg.
Greek sunsets and fisher boats
In this photo series Dennis and I shot the pictures on a little beach, which was full of fisher boats. The sun was already gone, it was about 7 pm and the sky was colored in pink and violet tones, which were reflecting in the sea. Yellow, turquoise and blue details of the boats made the scenery just perfect. I was wearing a maxi dress by Windsor with big cut-outs. In Greece they have lots of hibiscus and other beautiful flowers, which we do not have in Germany. Feeling a little Hawaiian with this tropical vibes, although I have never been there. 😀 Next stops for me are definitely Santorini, Mykonos and Kefalonia. In the past when I was working as a radio host, I have visited amazing islands in Greece and I regret that I haven’t been a blogger back then, because the pictures would have been magical. White stones and light blue sea water. A dream. Little streets with colorful windows and doors. Lots of light colors and in contrast the painted sky.
Greek food and the crisis
The food is also amazing. I am a huge fan of the Greek Salad, Haloumi (grilled cheese), Pita with Chicken or Kebab and stuffed peppers/tomatoes. Also I am a big lover of seafood and in Greece you have plenty of fresh fish caught and cooked for you in the moment you order. The olives and the olive oil have a more intense and fresh taste. I love the greek figs and watermelons. Regarding the crisis, well I have noticed that the prices increased and many things got more expensive, although the people earn so less than before. It is unbelievable that this beautiful country is being ruined by so many bad influences. Anyways I will share with you the great pictures I took in the next blogposts. Hope they can take you there just for a second. <3 kisses Diana June
